Join us for a hands-on cooking experience where you’ll learn the foundations of authentic Japanese sushi. In this interactive class, Chef Mack Bui will guide you step-by-step through the process of mastering sushi rice and traditional rolling techniques. You’ll learn how to properly wash, cook, and season sushi rice to achieve the perfect texture, gaining the confidence to handle nori and fresh ingredients like a pro.
We’ll demonstrate how to prepare light, crispy vegetable tempura—a staple of Japanese kitchens. You’ll learn how to whisk a delicate batter, maintain the perfect frying temperature, and create a variety of classic rolls using fresh seafood and crisp vegetables.

Whether you’re a total beginner or a home cook looking to sharpen your rolling skills, this workshop is designed to share tips and tricks for preparing sushi in your kitchen.
*This class will involve preparing and eating fish and shrimp. Those with allergies are advised to consider a different class option.
Wine pairings are available with this class. If chosen, you will get to try two wines to go with your dish. These wines have been carefully selected by our sommelier to complete your palate. Pre-order during the checkout process and you will be charged $20 per person the night of the event ($25 per person if not pre-ordered, subject to availability).
